Son of an Olympian, Kieran Baskett from the very beginning has proved his success in a wide range. Kirean first began playing soccer at the age of four for club team Halfiax City SC. By high school, he continued to strive for the best. For example, in 2016 he debuted with the Canadian program and he attended an identification camp for the Canada under 15 program. In 2017, he represented Nova Scotia at the Canada Summer Games. Kirean started off at Halfix Grmmar School in ninth and tenth grade before moving to Baltimore and attending in McDonogh high school. He lead them to numerous interscholastic Athletic Conference Championships. In 2018, Kirean went first team all-state. He simultaneously played club soccer for Baltimore Celtic SC. He won the Golden Glove for US youth soccer national championship. Basket committed to William and Mary for soccer and academics in 2019. In his freshman season, he was named Colonial Athletic Association defensive player of the week twice. He was slated to be the backup, but after the starter went down with injury, he started every match freshman year while leading the CAA in saves with 71. In 2020 he was named CAA athletic commissioners honor roll. Kirean returned to Nova Scotia during the Covid 19 pandemic and would spend time training with Suburban FC as the CAA season was cancelled. Following the season cancellation, Kirean left William and Mary to pursue a professional career. Kirean signed a one year deal with his hometown team, HFX Wanderers in Canada Premier league. His first match starting was in the Canadian Championship against Blainville. Korean would spend the rest of the season as the main goalkeeper, starting 10 of 12 matches with his most notable accomplishment his first year being saving a penalty kick against Calvary FC to keep the game drawed at 0-0. Korean won CPL save of the week honors. Korean re-signed with HFX for the 2022 season and he would spend the offseason training with Coventry Cityin England. After the 2022 season, his player option was declined for the 2023 season. In March of 2023, Kirean signed with Paccific F.C. . Kirean only made 10 starts with 4 of them being clean sheets. Kirean was later released by Pacific and in Janauary of 2024, he signed with Brattvag IL in Norways second division.
