Kyle joined the Academy in the Winter of 2010. Kyle was a starter for one of the top US Soccer Academy teams in the region. This was/is the same US Soccer Academy program that members Sean Killion, Nich Pera, Brian Gore and Graham Kindermann were/are members. He started at both the U-16 and U-18 level. Before playing at the Academy level, Kyle was on one of the top teams in the state. He led his club team to the Maryland State Cup final four twice and won a Maryland State Cup Championship once. He led his club team to top finishes in the premier tournaments in the region and a regional ranking. After years of US Soccer Academy play, Kyle went back to club soccer and joined Academy Class of 2012 member Cory Budka on one of the top teams in the country. Kyle has started for his high school varsity team since he was a freshmen. He has been named All-County every year of his high school career and helped lead his team to the high school state cup final four. He is considered one of the best players to have ever attended the school. Kyle is very involved with school beyond being an honor student and an athlete. He is a National Honor Society member and a member of the Model UN Assembly. Kyle is also involved with volunteering for Special Olympics. Despite offers from several top schools in the region, Kyle accepted a scholarship to play soccer and study at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. Gettysburg College is a NCAA Division III national power and Kyle is expected to be a major contributor upon his arrival. Kyle was named the Academy One Academic Award runner-up for the Class of 2012.
