Brian joined the Academy at the end of the fall of 2011. Brian joined the Academy as one of the top goalkeepers in Maryland. He played for the top US Soccer Academy program in the nation, the Baltimore Chelsea Bays Academy. He helped guide the Chelsea Bays to a spot in the US Youth Soccer Academy playoffs. Before joining that Academy, he was a member of one of the DC area's US Soccer Academy programs: Potomac Academy. Brian played top level club soccer before US Academy soccer. He led his club team to numerous premier level tournament championships and an appearance in the Maryland State Cup final four. Brian was a member of Maryland State ODP. He led his state team to an undefeated Rider Cup tournament. Brian didn't play his freshmen year of high school soccer due to club soccer commitments. He played his sophomore year for one of the top Annapolis area private schools, Annapolis Area Christian School. He played as a field player and scored five goals. His junior year of high school, Brian transferred to his local public school Old Mill High School and he earned the starting goalkeeper position. He was the key player for his school, but an injury ended his junior season early. His senior season, Brian was needed by the team to be the starting sweeper where he earned the team's defensive player of the year at the end of the season. Brian is also a certified soccer referee and a high level baseball player to the point where he had to choose between a future with baseball or with soccer. After high school, Brian chose to attend Eastern University in Pennsylvania. His freshmen season with Eastern Brian helped the team to a conference semi-final appearance. Brian loves to ski and is actively involved in church.
