Angela is one of the most well traveled members of the Academy. Being a member of an important military family, she has lived in five different places in the last seven years. As a club player in Hawaii, her team finished second in the state. She was considered the best club goalkeeper in the state of Hawaii. When Angela moved to the the Northern Virginia area she played in the top division of the top league in the DC/Maryland/N.Virginia area, while playing up two age groups. Angela was a member of ODP Europe and then went on to earn a spot on the Region I ODP team. A broken wrist prevented her from attaining the same position on the Region IV ODP team when she lived in Hawaii. Angela would have been a member of her high school team, but a second round of injuries have kept her from school soccer. She also has the misfortune of attending a school with one of the poorest women's soccer programs and coaching staffs in her state. She is currently a member of the golf team, where she qualified for states her junior year. She is one of the top golfers in the state. Angela is an honor student and earned one of the highest grade point averages and SAT scores in her Academy class. Angela made the very difficult decision to forego a college soccer career at such national powerhouses as Pepperdine, and William and Mary and others to pursue her academics and golf career in college. Angela is very active in theater and art and also teaches religious education at her church.
